Another part I liked was the interesting creatures at the start. It would be hard to make up unrealistic creatures (such as the flying/floating squid thing) and getting the movement to still look believable.

Stop Motion Inspiration
So, just found this... Think it's quite good...
The bit which most gets me is right at the end where there is the incorporation of the drawings (imagination) into the real world. I think it's really quite a cool idea, could be annoyingly difficult though.
