Sensual Objects

So today we had to bring in five objects, 1 for each sense...

For sight I brought in the drawing I did for my first DSDN111 project. I really like the way the intersecting lines create an illusion of movement, it seems as if there are spinning circles when you move your head.

For taste and touch I brought along some chocolate/mint flavoured lip scrub from Lush. First off this stuff tastes amazing (I basically only bought it to eat it... DON'T JUDGE ME!) But the reason I chose this over the other tasty treats I have is because of the fact that it's not actually intended solely to be eaten. There's an element of surprise in finding that a cosmetic product actually tastes really good!! The feeling of it is a really bizarre, wet, gritty feeling. Obviously fit for the purpose of scrubbing lips... (awkward moment when my tutor asked me how it would feel on other parts of the body and I told him that it would feel good all over...)

For smell I brought along some handwash for its burning, alcoholy feeling in the nostrils. Not very pleasant... I wasn't the only one who thought of bringing in horrible chemical smells though. One guy had ethanol paint or something, damn him for outdoing me!

And for hearing I brought along an app on my phone which creates a range of tones which are harder to actually hear for older people as they get higher pitched. Once again, that same guy stole my idea... Con...
